Capita launches Capita Health Partners

Outsourcing firm Capita has launched a new venture, Capita Health Partners.

The new division will work with NHS organisations to provide them strategic support, which includes helping them with the management and delivery of technology and infrastructure.

Capital Health Partners brings together the combined skills of Capita’s health advisory practice, its health insight business and health infrastructure practice.

Richard Darch, executive director of Capita Health Partners, said that the work Capita was doing with healthcare organisations such as Sussex Community NHS Trust was the inspiration for the venture.

“There are a number of new ideas coming out of the Sussex project and the 433 other healthcare organisations we already work with and we are keen to transfer this learning and best practice across the health sector,” he said.

Capita partnered with Sussex Community NHS Trust last year to help it achieve foundation trust status.
