Exclusive: Mears Group in line to buy Care UK’s home care assets

Mears Group is in exclusivity to acquire Care UK’s domiciliary care division, sources have told HealthInvestor.

This follows the recent news that Care UK sold its mental health assets, comprising of 322 beds, to Partnerships in Care for an undisclosed sum.

Care UK is also looking to sell its learning disabilities division, as was first revealed by HealthInvestor.

Rothschild is advising Care UK on its divestments.

Care UK and Mears declined to comment.
