Nuffield increases gym portfolio

Not-for-profit healthcare provider Nuffield Health has bought two health and fitness clubs in London.

The CityPoint Club, Moorgate, and Market Sports, Shoreditch, were acquired for an undisclosed sum.

“These acquisitions complement our current offering in London, enabling us to support more local people with our unique integrated health and wellbeing proposition,” said Dr Andrew Jones, managing director for wellbeing at Nuffield Health.

He added that the location of the The CityPoint Club would allow Nuffield to access “more of London’s workforce”.

Nuffield now operates 77 consumer gyms and 208 corporate fitness and wellbeing sites.
