Jenefer Greenwood is retiring as a non-executive director of Assura after its annual general meeting on 6 July. Greenwood was appointed to the board in 2012 and is chair of the remuneration committee. Louise Fowler, who joined the board in June 2019, will take over that position.

Assura’s non-executive chairman, Ed Smith said: “I would first sincerely like to thank Jenefer for her significant contribution to Assura over the last nine years, a period during which the group has been transformed and its future growth prospects have never looked better. We all wish her the very best.

“As Assura moves to the next phase of its growth, we look forward to welcoming Emma, Noel and Sam to the board, who will bring an extensive array of new skills and expertise and provide crucial counsel as Assura continues to create the future community health service space for the country.”
