Complex care provider Cornerstone Healthcare has appointed Kinga Odendaal as area manager for East region, which includes Hampshire and Surrey.
Odendaal has more than 10 years’ experience in senior healthcare management roles and has both clinical and business knowledge.
Cornerstone Healthcare operates two specialist nursing homes: South Africa Lodge in Waterlooville and Kitnocks House in Curdridge and its third in Mytchett, Surrey opens this month. The homes care for people with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurological and mental health needs. The group stated it is planning to open additional homes in Somerset next year and in Bristol in 2023.
Cornerstone Healthcare’s chief executive Johann van Zyl said: “Kinga is a highly educated manager who is driven to providing the very best care in the safest settings. We have ambitious growth plans and her ability to motivate and lead teams will be instrumental to the quality of our services as we grow as a company and I am thrilled that Kinga is now part of the Cornerstone team.”
Odendaal added “I have heard so much about Cornerstone Healthcare and the unique care they provide. I’m so pleased to be joining them on their journey, expanding their provision of complex care into other parts of the UK.”
