Dementia devastates lives, but it won’t win.

Our vision is a world without dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s largest dementia charity. We’re the only organisation that provides direct support, funds research into care and cure and campaigns for the rights of those affected by dementia.

Last year alone we invested £12.3 million to research. We provided support to 218,000 people across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our 3 million Dementia Friends are working to create a more inclusive society. We campaigned for the Prime Minister to put social care top of his agenda and our Dementia Connect service is included in the NHS Long Term Plan. And, thanks to our incredible supporters we raised more money than ever to deliver on our ambitions.

Our dedicated employees and more than 8,000 volunteers take their lead from people affected by dementia, working with them, standing beside them and being informed and inspired by what they do.

We are looking for an inspirational and visionary Operations Director, Services with exceptional people skills to build on our success and embed changes we have recently made. This is a once in a life-time opportunity for the right candidate, making a huge difference for people affected by dementia.

We are particularly interested in applications from women, and also the diverse range of communities we are here to help, including but not limited to those from BAME communities, rural communities and the LGBTQ+ community.
